i took this in corregidor. thats marco at the end of this huge-ass machine gun - 12-inch mortar, capable of lobbing a 1000-lb deck piercing shell or 700 lb high explosive shell 14,610 yards in any direction. these guns were used to fight off japanese troops invading the philippines during WW2.
